  主要研究内容  
        卵巢癌是一种高发性的妇科癌症,每72名女性当中就有一位会得这种疾病。卵巢癌的致死率在妇科肿瘤疾病中占据首要位置,在整个女性肿瘤致死率中排名第五。由于其发病隐蔽不易察觉,确诊过程往往非常滞后,直接导致5年存活率极低。所以如何提高/改善卵巢癌的早期诊断和有效治疗成为整个卵巢癌研究的重中之重。
        尽管在过去的四十年中,外科手术和放/化疗这些目前最常规的卵巢癌治疗手段有了长足的发展,可是患者的总生存期并没有显著改善。究其根本,还是由于患者错过早期诊断治疗的最佳时机,导致癌症扩散和转移。非常严峻的现实就是目前学术界对于卵巢癌扩散的分子学机制还是非常不清楚。所以,在进一步加快寻找卵巢癌早期诊断指标的同时,理解整个卵巢癌扩散的分子机制,并以此来指导治疗,将会为争取更好的预后效果带来巨大希望。
        另一个严重制约卵巢癌患者预后效果的重要原因是对化疗药物耐药性的产生。基于顺铂和紫杉醇为主的化学治疗是卵巢癌患者手术后的常规治疗。随着我们对于这种异质性极高肿瘤病理特征的进一步认识和了解,分子靶向治疗的早期工作也已经陆续开始,其中包括针对由HGF、VEGF、EGF或者PDGF诱导的信号通路的抑制,以及在BRCA基因功能缺失的患者中试用PARP1抑制剂。在收获越来越多极其令人鼓舞的报导的同时,分子靶向药物的耐药性也仍然是一个亟需解决的重要问题。
        基于此,我的实验室的主要致力于研究和解析卵巢癌扩散转移以及耐药性的分子机制。在充分了解机理的基础上,探索和开发抑制卵巢癌扩散转移以及耐药性的新型药物,提高预后效果。
